I am disappointed. WTF is that “FROM BEYOND” one? a mannequin with bandages kissing the statue of liberty? WTF? Why? MAkes ZERO snese? The deadly spawn and FROM BEYOND one will be terrible sellers I will tell you this now. THe killer Klowns one is mediocre as well, but will sell the most out of the 3. I know Zornow does better work than these… QUIT RUSHING YOUR ART DUDE!! -signed disappointed

Awesome! Love the DEADLY SPAWN and KILLER KLOWNS designs! Not a fan of FROM BEYOND, but that’s a cool looking design and I’m sure fans will be stoked.

Dude, All three shirts are pretty awesome. That fella’ heckling has no idea what he’s talking about; perhaps he hasn’t seen the movies of the respective shirts. Either way, I haven’t seen the Deadly Spawn or From Beyond (Couldn’t find them at my video store) but I did some research and both shirts are fairly accurate (and equally awesome). As for the Killer Clowns shirt; can’t wait to own it. Although it does seem as if perhaps the artist was a bit rushed. Either way, you guys rock.

These look great. Can’t wait to pick up the Deadly Spawn one? Any chance still of doing a shirt for the 1988 Blob?

Don’t listen to hydro, these designs are great. Who says they have to make sense? Awesome designs. Expect a $45 purchase from yours truly very soon. Don’t listen to the haters. He should have signed it “jealous” instead…

As a Lovecraft fan and a fan of Stuart Gordon, the “From Beyond” Shirt will, I repeat, will be hanging in my closet as soon as inhumanly possible! I love the other designs and I am sure I will purchase them in future, but anyone who knows Lovecraft and Gordon will be clawing to get at that T-Shirt. Excellent choices and high quality work, as always…rock on!

These are by far the most creative designs i’ve seen on this site. These are amazing. I love how everything just oozes into each other. This is such a cool style. The people that don’t like these have horrible taste in design. Rushed? They don’t look rushed at all. Thats easy to say when you are not an artist yourself. These are truly amazing designs and I hope a lot more designs are done in this style. There is so much to look at. Good job guys, don’t listen to the ignorant buyers that can’t appreciate the time and effort that was put into these.

I’ll be buying the Killer Klowns shirt for sure.

The other designs look good as well, but The Deadly Spawn’s not one of my favorite movies and I’ve never seen From Beyond.

Really nice designs though. I love this site.

Still need more Hellraiser shirts! :]

Maybe it’s just the color of “From Beyond” that makes it my least favorite. Also the size of the picture and words makes me wonder if it will be shrunk considerably to fit the shirt. The killer klowns is the best!!

  15. April 26, 2008

I love all three designs [whoever is not happy with the art should stop complaining and "d.i.y" - see if you can do better] !!!

I would like to see a limited edition for FROM BEYOND that is a glow in the dark green [or blue, since that was a primary color for the movie's poster] …. anyone else have an idea what they would like to seen as limited edition/variant ?

    stay ghoul cool ~

Thanks for your comments so far! Here are answers to some of your questions:

@ Nick – Look for The Blob to become one of our vintage shirts soon!

@ Wil – The From Beyond design is quite large on the shirt measuring just about 16″ tall…more than enough to fill the front :)

@ darkarmor – We’ve been trying out different things with glow in the dark but it’s a bit hard to work with at the moment. If we can get it to work in line with our process, we’ll certainly consider it.

@ Brad – We’d love to do the TCM part 2 cover but we don’t have the rights unfortunately.

You have made some sweet Creepshow shirts in the past. Now you really need to figure out a way to make a shirt based on one of the best quotes from Creepshow 2:

“Ooooh, mucho ecological, Poncho! Mucho ecological!”

I love the new designs, the Killer Klowns design is really polished
I liked the popcorn around the Klowns, The From Beyond one is pretty good, although I do think the eye sucking piece looks a little off, the forehead on Crawford looks like it is coming out too far.
But the design in total is really nice.
Deadly Spawn I haven’t seen, but the design looks kick ass!

Awesome designs. Fright-Rags continues destroying any so called competition.

  23. April 27, 2008

OMG…These designs are freakin’ sweet! I have been a fan of The Deadly Spawn since it was made in 82. Got a shirt someone did of it several years ago, but it was all white on a black shirt. Having this one, in full bloody color, will be simply amazing! And Killer Klowns…with the popcorn border and the hair turning to cotton candy…brilliant! At first glance, I was not wild about the From Beyond design. I think the focal point, the eyeball sucking, is the weakest portion of the artwork, but the detail of the creatures is utterly amazing. I will be seeing Jeffrey Combes in August and I will be pleased to greet him wearing that shirt. Rock on, Fright Rags! Rock on!

  24. April 27, 2008

Can you make more artwork that fills the whole shirt?like a larger more visible PINHEAD.I’d buy more stuff.love the concept though.

  25. April 27, 2008

Ben, don’t listen to that critical ass, Hydro. The designs are colorful and beautiful. I haven’t seen all 3 movies but the artwork is very detailed and looks fantastic! Keep up the great work!

Great new designs! I really like them all for different reasons and even though I like the design best for The Deadly Spawn, I think my preferred choice as a shirt would be Killer Klowns from Outer Space just because I grew up with that film.

Just curious though, any plans to make a shirt based on George Romero’s Martin? There is just NOTHING out there on that film and if anyone could come up with a sweet design for a shirt, it would be Fright-Rags. Keep the great clothing coming!

Even though I think this matter has been put to rest, I still feel the need to mention that Hydro clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The From Beyond design is straight out of the movie! So watch the fucking movies before sharing your “opinion”… On the other hand, despite the fact that From Beyond is my favorite flick of the three, it’s my least favorite design. I think that the problem is that it’s simply too overloaded, it’s visually heavy. Can’t complain about the other two, fantastic artwork. So keep up the good work Fright-Rags, it is how you’ve earned the right to advertise your shirts as “kick-ass”.

Now, if you could immortalize on cotton the 2 little gems from Tibor Takacs “The Gate” and “I, Madman”, you would be that much cooler…

But, here’s betting with the ongoing clown fetish sweeping our nation’s youth, the Killer Klown design sells best ;-)

How about some Japanese stuff? Like some Takashi Miike films. I love buying horror shirts, but I can never find any place that has decent Asian films shirts. Ichi The Killer would fit in nicely with your collection. Also, would love shirt for the following films: The Gate, Bad Taste, Warlock, Wishmaster, Machine Girl, Cabin Fever, Night Of The Creeps (more creative than the cover art that everyone else uses), Dead & Breakfast, Slither, Wild Zero (that would be awesome!), and finally, Critters.

Just throwing them out there, let me know what you think.

    Great shirt designs guys.
Just to make a suggestion: I love your vintage shirts and I’m glad to see some older b-movie shirts out there. I was going to ask if you guys could do some more designs like the From Beyond, or like more tribute artwork type shirts for some older films. I dunno it be nice to see a Teenage Frankenstein or Plan 9 one done in that way. I mean I love poster shirts but it seems those are the only type of shirts there are for older horror films. Like I said I’d love to see an artwork styled tribute to some older films.

    Also some recomendations for shirts:
    The Car
    Bride Of The Monster
Last House On Dead End Street
    Tombs Of The Blind Dead
    Snuff
    The Driller Killer
    Razorback
    The Being
    The Beast Within
    Without Warning
    Cop Killers
    Forced Entry
    Curtains
    Wheels Of Terror
The Pit And The Pendulum (original)
    Dracula vs. Frankenstein
    Mad Doctor Of Blood Island
    The Brain That Wouldn’t Die
    The Thing (original)

and if you are going to do any giant monster flicks I would love to see a Daimajin shirt.

I second the Without Warning shirt, although it would be kind of weird wearing the shirt and having a tattoo of the alien on my arm as well, haha

I also think a Frankenstien V/s The Space Monster would be an awesome addition

OMG, all of these will be great–I can hardly wait.. But I have a problem–for a long time now, maybe a year, I’ve been unable to use my e-mail address. It says that e-mail is in use,and it’s mine. I was sent something several months ago to fix it and it did not–so I had to use my son’s e-mail address. Could you help me, I want to use my own address. Thanks soooo much for your assistance!! Love the designs, especially the Killer Klowns. I would love
to see these designs NOT take up the entire front of the shirt.
So many designs these days are sized up tooo big on a shirt.
A slightly smaller design placement would be great!!!.
Maybe like Zazzle, where you can define the size of the graphic.

    Thanks for listening
