The Evil Dead are Coming June 8th....

The Evil Dead holds a special place in my heart. Even though it came out in 1981, it took me several years before I finally saw it. Admittedly, I was probably in my late teens when I did. However, when Tim (my childhood friend and now shipping manager) and I rented it on that fateful night, we didn't know what we were in for. Having seen countless horror films up to that point, we were still not prepared for this film. It scared the ever-living shit out of us. Truly. It is an example of how good a movie can be when made for next to nothing. To this day, it remains among my top favorites and I'm happy to say that I I longer have to cover my eyes when watching it.

We've released a few different shirts based on the film over since Fright-Rags began in 2003. Most notably, our collection based on Evil Dead 2 in 2013 and our exclusive Ladies of the Evil Dead box set in 2009. While those were big releases, we've launched a collection of several designs based on the original film.
