About The Evil Dead

Sam Raimi was just 21 years old when he directed The Evil Dead (1981), a film shot over a grueling 12-week period in a remote Tennessee cabin with a budget of approximately $350,000 raised from local dentists and lawyers. The production was so intense that several crew members quit, and star Bruce Campbell suffered real injuries from the demanding practical effects. Stephen King championed the film after seeing it at Cannes, helping it secure wider distribution. The Evil Dead pioneered the "shaky cam" technique using a wooden plank with a camera mounted on each end, creating the demonic POV shots that would become Raimi's trademark style throughout his career.

Amazing shirt. The image is absolutely stunning with the stark red on black. I originally bought it from hot topic, but I gave it to a friend and regretted it. After thinking I would never find it again, here it is. I usually wear a 1x but I picked the 2x like my original and the fit and length are fantastic. My friend is over 6 ft tall so he really appreciated the length as well. It is worth every penny.
