About Stand By Me (1986)

Rob Reiner's Stand by Me (1986) adapted Stephen King's novella The Body into one of the most beloved coming-of-age films ever made, following four boys on a two-day hike through small-town Oregon to find a dead body. The film's four young leads—Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, and Jerry O'Connell—delivered performances of remarkable naturalism, with Phoenix's portrayal of the troubled Chris Chambers considered one of the most genuine depictions of childhood pain ever captured on film. King has said the story is his most autobiographical work, drawing on his own childhood friendships in small-town Maine, and the film's bittersweet tone perfectly captures how the intensity of childhood bonds fades with age. The Ben E. King title song became permanently associated with the film despite being 25 years old at the time, and the movie proved that Stephen King adaptations could transcend the horror genre.

I loved the design of the shirt. The detailed characters were a nice touch and the old dime store novel cover was well executed.
(The Comfort Colors quality has been a very welcome option on this end.)
Additionally, the packaging and additional bells and (literal)whistles were all nicely thought out.
Definitely recommend if you’re a fan of this wonderful film.

Creative, clever and just awesome!

Awesome! Packaging totally added to the experience. And I’m psyched it still seals shut after first opening. Great items inside. Overall an incredible concept. Keep em coming Fright-Rags!

Just amazing. Wife loved it.

Great products in a great collector carton. Looks great on the shelf.

Love the set!!! Artwork is fantastic, fit is perfect, and all the collectibles go perfect! One of my all time favorite movies so this box set is the icing on the cake! Awesome!!!
