About Big Trouble in Little China (1986)

John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China (1986) is a deliberate subversion of the action hero archetype—Kurt Russell's Jack Burton thinks he's the hero but is actually the bumbling sidekick, while Dennis Dun's Wang Chi is the real martial arts protagonist. The film blends wuxia fantasy, Hong Kong action cinema, and American comedy in a way that confused audiences and critics upon release, leading to a devastating box office failure that effectively ended Carpenter's run of studio filmmaking. James Hong's unforgettable performance as the 2,000-year-old sorcerer Lo Pan required hours of makeup for his decrepit form, while his young incarnation was achieved through what were then cutting-edge visual effects. Now considered one of the greatest cult films ever made, the movie's influence can be seen in everything from Mortal Kombat to Marvel's approach to mixing humor with supernatural action.

Great recreation of Jack Burton's T-top from Big Troule in Little China!

It's recommended to get the tank top if you're a HUGE fan of the movie like I am. As soon as I saw it on sale I HAD to get it and am happy I did! I always order tanks/shirts in an XL size but this time around I decided to get it in a Large size and it fits me well. It's not too tight on me and it fits me a little loose, which is what I prefer. A good tank top for the Summer and the material is comfortable. Not at all rough or thick. The design is true to the OG one Kurt Russell wears in the movie.

Sleeves were way baggy and “gave me wings”, poorly cut and poorly manufactured. I was so excited to get this item and immediately disappointed when I put it on. Temu tank top. Likely last time I order from Fright Rags. Please, for every other customer, do better.
