About Yellowjackets (2021-)

Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson's Yellowjackets (2021-) interweaves two timelines to tell the story of a girls' high school soccer team stranded in the Ontario wilderness after a plane crash in 1996, exploring how their descent into primal survival rituals haunts the adult survivors 25 years later. The dual casting—with young actors including Sophie Nélisse and Jasmin Savoy Brown portraying the teenage versions of characters played by Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, and Christina Ricci—creates a unique dramatic tension as viewers watch seemingly normal adults while knowing the horrors they committed as teenagers.
