The film was savaged by audiences expecting another Michael Myers slasher, but has since been reappraised as a clever, paranoid thriller with one of horror's catchiest—and most disturbing—jingles: "Eight more days 'til Halloween, Halloween, Halloween." Director Tommy Lee Wallace, who edited the original Halloween, created a uniquely atmospheric film that explores corporate evil and pagan rituals. I got this and the My Bloody Valentine box set for my wife for Valentine’s Day, and she loved it! MBV is her favorite movie, but she’s a HUGE Tom Atkins fan with Dr. Challis being one of her favorite roles. She has hung the shirt up in her home office like artwork.
